Sometimes I can get pretty uptight about certain things. Usually it is when people use the wrong name for something, like when people refer to comic books or trade paperbacks as “graphic novels.” The term graphic novel implies that the pages found within the book comprise one entire story, written as such – ignoring the fact that the book is quite often made up of single issue comic books that make up only one part of a much larger story. It is now typically used as a blanket term to cover any collection of comic books. A collection of 6 comic books that were released periodically over a set timeframe and have been bound in a single book is not a graphic novel. It is a trade paperback. Get it straight. How about an example? “Watchmen” is not a graphic novel. It is a collection of 12 comic books that were first released in a serialized format and later collected. Alas, I am off topic. This writing is related to firearms. Lucky for you I have a gripe about a big firearm-related misnomer as well.

If you want to be taken at all seriously in the realm of firearms or shooting sports, please stop referring to magazines as clips. They are two noticeably different things. A magazine is a device used to both store and feed ammunition into a firearm and may be either internal or external (detachable). A clip is a device used to store ammunition that is later fed into either a magazine or the cylinder of a firearm. Clips, unlike magazines, contain no spring or follower and are unable to automatically feed a firearm. Think of it this way – a clip is used to feed ammunition into a magazine while a magazine is used to feed ammunition into the chamber of a firearm.

All that said we have a new Keepshooting.com brand magazine (not a clip) available – the Beretta 92 series magazine. These Beretta 92 series magazines are 15-round staggered box magazines for the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge and will fit and function in any pistol from Beretta’s 92 series. As with any of our magazines, these were rigorously field tested and are guaranteed to function in a compatible firearm.

With our money back guarantee, trying out the Beretta 92 series magazine is risk free. Pick one up today for $14.95.

Ordinarily, it is beneficial to seek out factory magazines for your firearms. After all, they are manufactured by the same company that produced the firearm, and therefore should present no problems in regard to fit or function. However, factory magazines are often very expensive – like factory Beretta 92 series magazines, which can run over $30. Lucky for you, Keepshooting.com manufactures magazines for many popular firearms and we guarantee them to fit and function in their respective firearms – at a fraction of the price.

Today, we offer the Beretta 92 series magazine. The Beretta 92 series is a series of semi-automatic pistols designed and produced by Beretta. Production began way back in 1975 with the model 92, which has since evolved into over 20 different variants, including the 92F, otherwise known as the Beretta M9, which replaced the M1911A1 in 1985 as the official sidearm of the United States Armed Forces.

The Beretta 92 series magazine is a staggered box magazine that has been specifically manufactured for Keepshooting.com. The magazine holds 15 rounds of 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger) ammunition and, aside from the floor plate, is manufactured entirely from steel. The body of the magazine, which boasts a black finish, has been fully heat treated to ensure durability. You will notice that the magazine also utilizes a thicker floor plate like those normally included with the Beretta 92FS, which has been milled from aluminum. This is in contrast to the thinner, stamped floor plates seen on older 92 series magazines. Like most of our in-house magazines, these include a high-strength spring that ensures consistent feeds.

As noted, our Beretta 92 series magazines will fit and function in any pistol from Beretta’s 92 series, including the more popular 92, 92S, 92F/M9, 92A1 and all variants. Use of these magazines in compact models is not recommended (though they should work, provided you do not mind partial exposure of the magazine), as they were designed for 8-, 10- and 13-round magazines only.

We are able to guarantee our magazines because every batch endures a round of testing, including tests that check for proper fit, feeding and ejection. As such, all Keepshooting.com brand magazines are returnable provided they show no visible signs of use, damage or modification.

Beretta 92 Series Magazines and Foreign Armed Forces

Many foreign nations use Beretta 92 series pistols as their official sidearm, including Taiwan. Taiwan actually uses the T75K1, a copy of the Beretta M9. Interestingly enough, they also use the very same magazines being offered here. You heard right, the Keepshooting.com Beretta 92 series magazine is good enough for foreign armed forces. Here is to hoping the United States Armed Forces wises up and places an order as well.
