Today feels like a business first kind of day. Unfortunately that means minimal sarcasm, no spellbinding stories and a lack of clever quips. So suck it up and get ready for some riveting exposition regarding the CZ 82.

For those unversed in Eastern Bloc munitions, the CZ 82 is a double-action, semi-automatic pistol that features a traditional blowback system of operation. The pistol was designed in 1982 by Augustin Nečas for the Czechoslovakian military, where it served proudly for 10 years after replacing the CZ 52. Despite being just 30 years old, it has been added to the U.S. government’s Curio & Relic list, which is maintained by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

So what does any of what I just said have to do with business? Well, if you had read the title you would know that Keepshooting.com now carries the CZ 82 leather holster – so much for holding back the snarky comments.

Manufactured in Czechoslovakia during the 1980s, the CZ 82 leather holster is an authentic piece of Czech military history. The holster is designed to carry the CZ 82 pistol along with a number of accessories. Sure, they are used, but only by Czech military and police throughout the 1980s and 1990s. If you ask me, that only serves to make the deal sweeter.

The CZ 82 leather holster is the perfect complement to your CZ 82. Regrettably, they are becoming harder and harder to find. Grab one today for just $24.95.

  • CZ 82 Leather Holster – Note Presence of Orignal Proofs and Markings

Our CZ 82 leather holsters are completely original Czechoslovakian military surplus items. Upon receiving the holster, you will notice that they are, despite being used, in excellent cosmetic and working condition. Many even clearly retain all manufacturer proofs and markings, some of which will be explained shortly.

This CZ 82 holster is tapered and measures approximately 8 inches tall with an opening that is about 6.5 inches wide. At its narrowest point, the holster measures approximately 3.75 inches wide. It is constructed almost entirely from thick, tanned leather save the military-grade stitching and rivets that hold it together.  The oversized closure flap, which is secured via a strap and stud fastener, encloses a singular spacious storage compartment that offers enough room for the CZ 82 pistol and accessories that include a spare magazine and cleaning rod. The reverse of the holster features 2.5-inch belt loops that make hanging the holster from a belt very easy. It is worth noting that the primary purpose of the holster is storage and protection. Use as a defense holster or in conjunction with concealed carry is not recommended.

As noted, many of the original manufacturer proofs and markings are well preserved. This includes the date of manufacture, among others. Noticeable is the presence of the letters "OTK," which likely stand for the Czech Oddĕliní Technického Kontrolovatu, or Department of Technical Control. It basically means that the holster was manufactured to military specifications and is the equivalent of MIL-STD in the United States.

It is no secret. Finding original accessories for the CZ 82 at a decent price is not the easiest thing to do – everyone knows how hard magazines can be to come by. Do not miss your opportunity to pick up an original CZ 82 leather holster for just $24.95.
