Brief Guide to M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch History and Selection

 

M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch - 1943 Style - This is the most common style of M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch, it is commonly referred to as the M1 Carbine "Stock" magazine pouch.  This is a faithful reproduction and it does require you to remove your gun from its stock to install it. 

 

 M1 Carbine Stock Mag Pouch - Commercial - This is a commercial version of a M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch that allows you to have a stock magazine pouch without having to remove your gun from its stock.  Good for beginning collectors, but those who enjoy taking their Carbine apart will prefer the 1943 style.

 

 M1 Carbine 30rd Magazine Pouch - 1950 Style - This is the M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch that you want if you want to store 30rd magazines.  An amazing reproduction, most advanced M1 Carbine Collectors consider this to be the finest reproduction M1 Carbine Pouch ever made.  Everything from the markings to the fonts are correct!

 
M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch - Pistol Belt Type -  This is another common early style M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch.  This pouch is designed to be worn on a pistol belt.  It was issued to US troops to replace the 1943 Style magazine pouch.  Perfect for reenactors or collectors of all things M1 Carbine!
