Original UK L1A1 SLR Rifle Sling

What a find! These are original UK issued L1A1 SLR rifle slings. The L1A1 SLR was the UK version of the world famous FN/FAL rifle that was fielded by most major countries around the world.

These L1A1 slings are an updated version of the original khahki webbing sling issued with the Lee Enfield rifle. The primary difference being the buckles on this sling are darkened steel instead of brass like the Lee Enfield sling. On issue from the mid 1970's until the demise o fthe SLR, their original NATO Stock Number was B1/1010-99-132-3199.
