This thread adapter easily replaces the factory barrel nut and gives you the 1/2 x 28 male thread that you need to screw on a suppressor, a flash hider from an AR15 or an UNRESTRICTED fake suppressor. To install it, you don't have to modify your handgun or do any machine work. All you have to do is remove the factory barrel nut with the factory supplied wrench and then replace it with this adapter which will give you the 1/2x28 male thread in the front of the gun. A machined thread protector with a nicely knurled OD is also included in the price so that when your suppressor is not installed, you won't run the risk of damaging the threads, and it makes it look better too! (Walther P22 adapter will not work with California legal P22)
