Somewhere along the line, Hi-Point firearms got the reputation of being cheap firearms. Well, as you may know, cheap can be defined in many different ways. And while Hi-Point firearms are indeed very inexpensive, there is nothing cheap about them. In fact, I would say the opposite is quite true.

The price you pay for a Hi-Point firearm gets you a heck of a lot of pistol. Not to mention, Hi-Point prides itself on its value, reliability and service. Why else would they offer a lifetime "no questions asked" warranty on each of their firearms? Best of all, that warranty remains in place whether you are the original owner or a second-hand owner. And if Hi-Point firearms were no good, how do you explain their popularity? We have had several customers purchase more than a few Hi-Point firearms, including the new Hi-Point CF-380.

The Hi-Point CF-380 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic polymer pistol that utilizes a traditional blowback operation. As its name implies, the pistol is chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge and will most definitely set the record straight on Hi-Point firearms. This compact pistol is suitable for concealed carry and personal protection and comes with a single eight-round box magazine.

The Hi-Point CF-380 is now available from Keepshooting.com for just $137.58.

Hi-Point Firearms, founded in 1992, is an American arms manufacturer that is based in Mansfield, Ohio. The company quickly made a name for itself by producing quality firearms and making them available for a low price. Today, the company produces a line pistols and carbines that are chambered in the following calibers: 380 ACP, 9x19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W and .45 ACP.

The company prides itself on what it considers its three greatest attributes: value, reliability and service. The value speaks for itself. When you buy a Hi-Point firearm, you receive a high-quality firearm at a low price. The reliability of a Hi-Point firearm is often overlooked. All Hi-Point firearms utilize a traditional blowback operation, which is simple yet reliable. Though this system of operation may provide for a heavier product, it also provides for a more reliable product due to their fixed barrels. Not to mention, all Hi-Point firearms benefit from the company's strict quality control policy that requires each pistol and carbine to be test fired for proper safety and functionality prior to shipping. Finally, there is service. All Hi-Point customers enjoy a lifetime warranty on all Hi-Point firearms that guarantees free repairs for the life of the firearm. For more information on the lifetime warranty, please contact Hi-Point Firearms.

The Hi-Point CF-380 is Hi-Point's compact offering chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge. As noted, the CF-380 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic polymer pistol that operates on a blowback system of operation not unlike that found on the famous Walther PPK. The CF-380 features a 3 1/2 inch barrel and an overall length of 6 3/4 inches. Much like all blowback pistols, the barrel of the CF-380 is fixed to the frame, which is constructed from high-impact polymer.
