This is brand new Multi-Purpose Gas Mask Filter. When used with a gas mask, it can remove harmful gases, vapors and solid particles
from inhaled air. While many customers are happy with military surplus gas mask filters,
some perfer a filter that is current. These filters are from a fresh manufacturing run
by MESTEL SAFETY. Each one is stamped with its lot number and date of manufacture. All
are covered under their warranty from MESTEL.
This filter is designed to protect the end user from every known threat. The filter type
category is A2B2E2K2P3 which protects against:
A (Brown) Organic gases and vapours with boiling point greater than 65 degrees C (maximum 5000ppm
permissiable concentration)
B (Grey) Inorganic gases and vapours, e.h. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen cyanide, but
not carbon monoxide. (maximum 5000ppm permissiable concentration)
E (Yellow) Sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride and other acid gases (maximum 5000ppm permissiable concentration)
K (Green) Ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives (maximum 5000ppm permissiable concentration)
Hg-P3 (Red/White) Mercury
The performance of this filter complies with EN 141, 143, and 371 as well
