If I had to say Poland is famous for one thing, it would probably be for producing Nicolaus Copernicus, the Renaissance astronomer who first surmised that Earth is not at the center of the universe. But because it would be silly to reduce Poland to just one achievement, I will do no such thing. Poland has given a lot to the world, including the P-64.
Yes, the P-64 – Poland's replacement for the TT-30. The P-64 is a semi-automatic Polish pistol that utilizes a blowback action and is chambered for the 9x18mm Makarov cartridge. It was originally designed in the 1950s at the Institute for Artillery Research by a six-man design team and went to production in 1965 at the Łucznik Arms Factory in Radom, Poland. As you would expect, this surplus pistol is no longer manufactured, making the pistol itself along with the magazines it accepts hard to find at a reasonable price – until now.
You now have the opportunity to purchase Keepshooting.com's Polish P-64 magazine. The first in what would become a long line of magazines produced by Keepshooting.com, the Polish P-64 magazine is identical in both fit and function to the original military magazines issued alongside the pistol. The only difference between our magazines and the originals is the price.
Pick up a couple of brand new, guaranteed-to-function Polish P-64 magazines today for just $19.95 each. Good luck finding an original for a price like that!
The P-64 came about after being selected as the winner of a design competition instituted to field a replacement for the TT-30, a Russian pistol designed by Fedor Tokarev. Though the original winner was chambered for the .380 ACP cartridge, the pistol was eventually re-chambered for the 9x18mm Makarov cartridge. Both versions of the pistol supported 6-round magazines.
Today, you can purchase a near-perfect reproduction of the original P-64 magazine by picking up one of our very own Keepshooting.com Polish P-64 magazine. The Polish P-64 magazine is a single-stack magazine that is designed to hold and feed six rounds of 9x18mm Makarov ammunition for your Polish P-64.
Our magazine is manufactured entirely from steel, save the polymer floor plate (finger rest). The steel body has been fully heat treated and features a rear seam that has been laser welded to ensure your magazine remains durable and reliable for years to come. Additionally, the inclusion of a follower spring that is seven percent stronger than surplus magazines ensures that our magazine will properly feed upon each discharge.
As noted, the Polish P-64 magazine was the first Keepshooting.com brand magazine we ever had produced. As such, we created the goal to produce a P-64 magazine that would be 100 percent reliable and functional in all Polish P-64 pistols that would satisfy both ourselves and our customers. The Polish P-64 magazine is the fruit of our effort and we are now proud to guarantee proper function of our magazines. Provided there is no damage or visible signs of use, you may return the magazines for your money back. If you’re still skeptical, check out the video to the left. We shot this video to demonstrate our magazine in use, including proper fitting, feeding and ejection.
Our extensive field testing, which incorporated the use of several different P-64s and a number of different types of 9x18mm Makarov ammunition proved one thing – our Polish P-64 magazine is one of the best magazines money can buy. With no risk to you, there is no possible reason for passing this up. Grab your Polish P-64 magazine today for just $19.95.
