This is well made, and easy to put on the carbine. I didn't notice a recoil difference (the .30 carbine is light anyway), but the muzzle flash went way up. My kids liked that, so if it gets them to shoot more, it was worth it. (Posted on 11/27/11)

I installed this product on my Springfield Armory M1 carbine. It worked as advertised. I would recommend this product it does reduce muzzle climb but does increase muzzle blast. Overall a good product.
