This baby has kept me warm for the past two winters. I have also gotten lots of compliments from people who recognized the soviet emblem. I have also accidentally scared people who thought I was some kind of officer or law enforcement. haha. (Posted on 4/2/12)

I am a big fan of these hats in winter, and I can say this is one of the best. I have the East german(DDR) version and the modern Russian version. This is a perfect combo. Lighter than the Russian, fits better and warmer than the German. (Posted on 1/10/12)

I will go on to say that these Czechoslovak fur hats are better than their Soviet counterparts! Just got mine today.. it's less bulky and primitive than the Soviet ushankas, whilst providing you with the same cold protection. The only minor annoyance I had was a big ol' string sticking out of the front of the hat with the front flap down (yes, you can unbutton the front flap), which I promptly removed (oh god please don't tell me I damaged the hat). It's a great hat, I highly recommend it to anybody to save their heads from whatever cold they must overcome. (Posted on 11/16/11)

Bought two of these for my boys, My youngest loves this hat, he runs around with it and plays army. well worth the 14.00 to see the kid having a blast. (Posted on 8/15/11)
