slapped this on my Romanian WASR due to the original forend being destroyed due to the heat from high volume shooting. next i need the folding fore grip and a new stock to match. thanks KEEPSHOOTING! as always I'm happy with my purchase (Posted on 1/5/12)

I purchased a WASR Romanian AK-47 at a good price, they said it was "used". When I disassembled it, it didn't look like it had ever been shot, but it was mildewy and moldy. The wood stock (both butt stock and forend upper and lower) were damp and mildewed. I removed the wood (easily because it was rotten), cleaned the gun thoroughly and installed this quadrail along with an appropriate black poly stock. WOW! This part was of the highest quality and FIT LIKE A DREAM. I'm ordering another one today. I was able to mount a scope,red dot and extreme power flashlight to the picatinny rails, as well as a forward grip. Now my AK would sell for AT LEAST TWICE what I bought it for. THANK YOU KEEP SHOOTIN!!! It was super easy to install, tight as ... well you fill it in. SOLID. OUTSTANDING. (Posted on 5/11/11)
