This stab resistant vest is at a great price. Its pretty much brand new with no signs of wear or tares. Easy to put on and manage. This vest really protects against stabs, hits, slashes. A 5 star buy. (Posted on 4/1/12)

I just received this a few hours ago, and the only complaint I have is that it took me awhile to figure out how to put it on (it's pretty awkward to hold). It only took maybe 4 days with UPS Ground.I will be testing it's stab resistance tonight, and have high hopes for it.

I will have my first Ride Along (I am a Police Explorer) Tuesday morning, and it looks like this vest will serve me well. My only request is that you guys sell the inserts separately, both stab and bullet resistance (because I'll be needing that).

While this vest does not offer ballistic protection against bullets, it does provide a significant amount of protection against stabs, slashes, and thrusts from bladed or edged weapons. It provides great coverage over the vital body areas (i.e., the torso), and it does so with a good balance in terms of mobility and flexibility as the wearer moves. I have a smaller body type, and this vest still allows me to move with a good amount of freedom. Considering that melee/CQB hand weapons (e.g., clubs and knives) are more commonly used in violent criminal assaults than guns, a stab vest is an excellent place to start in acquiring personal protection against attacks. If you're looking for a good value in body armor (with the option to upgrade this vest later to a ballistic-resistant vest), this stab vest is a great place to start! (Posted on 4/4/11)
