Excellent quality and price. These are in really nice condition and are perfect for M1 cabine, Ruger 10/22 or, Ruger Mini-14. There are 8 "staples" that a leather strap threads thru to keep the case closed. Better have a screwdriver handy when you want to close the case from the top down so you can thread the strap through the "staples". It can be a little frustrating at first to close the case, but gets better once you close it a few times. Too bad the French never heard of the ZIPPER! (Posted on 12/23/11)

I ordered two of these,Hoping thjey would fit my Carbine and my other eariler model mas,no way will it fit the eariler Mas bolt action,still though there heavy duty well made,and most any small carbine will fit in them,heck the price is right on these if you hav e rugged terrain you need to cross,this is the rifle case for you hands down!
