Cheap and reliable Review by Tim

The WASR-10 is an excellent rifle. I paid only $500 for mine brand new, and for the price, it is a very rewarding rifle. Not only is it a cheap rifle, it is cheap to shoot. I would recommend putting a timbersmith stock&grip set on it because the original ones are kind of ugly, but it's still very nice. The receiver was a bit rough still, but that was because it was brand new and had been sitting in surplus for 40 years. But besides that it is an excellent rifle, I recommend any with an extra $500 laying around to buy one before they're illegal to purchase. (Posted on 2/18/13)

Bought 1 of these from keepshooting a couple years back and haven't had any issues. Finally got a front sight tool for it so now a little more accurate with it, but other than that it hasn't jammed once. (Posted on 1/8/13)
One Hot AK-47! Review by Bobby

After 75rds the gun was too hot to hold. I'll have to get a pair of tactical gloves before the zombies get here! My WASR-10 was built well unlike some years back from Century Arms. I'm very happy with my WASR with the only down side being she won't fire hollow points(they get stuck/jam) . If i stick to FMJ she will fire all day! If your spending more than $600 on an Ak47 buy an AR15. (Posted on 8/8/12)
Excellent rifle Review by Stephen

I rated quality at 4 stars only because it depends on the rifle you get. Most WASR-10 rifles are made by Century Arms, and while most are excellent, some use trunnions and receiver parts left over from civilian rifle manufacture. Most rifles use military rifle parts, and these are the best. You may have to take a Dremel tool to the magazine well opening if you want to use polymer magazines (about .001 inches trimmed at most, and rounding of the internal magazine support bars), but metal mags work great. If you're thinking about emergency scenarios or TEOTWAWKI, these are the rifles to have on hand. (Posted on 11/27/11)
