The Mark I Hi Powers are a good value where found because they represent John Browning's original design with the internal extractor and after his death they went over to external extractors seen in today's Hi Powers. Many parts are still interchangeable, be on the look out for extractors if you intend to use at the range as they are becoming scarce. Also do not use plus pressure ammo in these as they are older guns. Own a piece of history and the value can only go up from there. (Posted on 12/18/11)
