Don LaFontaine was the king of voiceovers. Lending his unmistakable voice to over 5,000 film trailers, he earned himself the fitting nickname, "The Voice of God." Noted for starting his ramblings with "In a world where…" LaFontaine has achieved icon status within a society that could probably not pick him out of a lineup. Sadly, LaFontaine passed in 2008. In an attempt to pay him tribute, here is my poor parody pitch for our newest product.

In a world where (How could I lead with anything else?) your choice of shotguns is limited only by the amount of money you wish to spend, one bargain boomstick stands above the rest. Brought to you by the people that manufactured the Rossi Ranch Hand pistol and the Rossi Circuit Judge, a hybrid of the highest order, comes's newest item – the Rossi Tuffy .410.

The Rossi Tuffy .410 is a single-shot .410-bore shotgun that utilizes a break-open action and features an 18.5-inch barrel alongside a comfortable thumbhole stock. Boasting a design that provides for a light weight and a price just as light, the Rossi Tuffy is sure to become your next favorite sporting shotgun.

Just how light is that price? You can order the Rossi Tuffy .410 today for only $136.85.

Founded in 1889 by Amadeo Rossi, Rossi is a Brazilian arms manufacturer that produces a range of pistols, rifles and shotguns. With over 120 years of experience and ties to Taurus International, Rossi has earned a reputation for excellence that can be readily found in all of their unique designs and quality engineering. Over the years, the company has enjoyed steady growth, helped along by the establishment of exclusive North American importer BrazTech International in 1997. It also helps that Rossi has remained family-owned and operated by people that truly care about the history and tradition that is represented by their product. Today, the company finds its headquarters in São Leopoldo, Brazil. It is there that the Rossi Tuffy .410 is manufactured.

As noted, the Rossi Tuffy .410 is a single-shot .410-bore shotgun. The .410-bore shotgun is the smallest shotgun that is widely available, which often results in .410 shells that are lightly charged. This, however, provides for low recoil, making .410-bore shotguns an excellent choice for less experienced shooters. They are ideal for sport shooting and small-game hunting. No matter what you choose to use your Rossi Tuffy for, we are pretty confident that you will be pleased with its performance.

The Rossi Tuffy .410, as noted, is a single-shot shotgun that utilizes a break-open action. It features an 18.5-inch barrel and an overall length of 34.25 inches. Its design, specifically the synthetic thumbhole stock along with the synthetic fore-end, provide for a lightweight shotgun that weighs in at just 3 pounds. The steel receiver features a manually-operated thumb safety as well as the Taurus integral security system. Other features include a bead front sight and a blued finish that mark this particular model as a Sports South exclusive.

Additionally, you may be pleased to hear that the Rossi Tuffy .410 comes with a repair policy that covers any service or repair needed to the shotgun for a full year after the original purchase date, free of charge.

With a price tag of just $136.85, there is almost no good reason for not adding the Rossi Tuffy .410 to your collection today. Consider this shotgun for:

- Sport shooting

- Target shooting

- Small-game hunting

- First-time shooters
