Our USGI MOLLE II bandoliers are completely original United States Military surplus items. Upon receiving the pouches, you will notice that they are brand new and unissued, each in perfect cosmetic and working condition. It is the perfect accessory for anyone that owns an AR-15, M16 or M4 rifle.
These bandoliers measure approximately 11 inches wide and 9 inches high and are constructed from high-strength nylon with military-grade stitching. As noted, the bandoliers are available in two different popular camouflage patterns – woodland and desert tan. Each bandolier is a three-chambered bandolier, meaning that the magazines are placed into three separate pouches. Each of those pouches features an oversized closure flap that serves to protect the magazines and is secured tightly via snap fasteners. Additionally, there are two snap fasteners on the rear of the bandolier that provide a means of mounting them to MOLLE packs. Or, you can sling it over your shoulder with the inclusion of an adjustable nylon shoulder strap.
An interesting aspect of the USGI MOLLE II bandolier is the inclusion of the NATO Stock Number (NSN) on the manufacturer's label. An NSN is a 13-digit numerical code that identifies all standardized materials of supply that are recognized by NATO countries. The NSN for this bandolier is 8465-01-465-2144. The "8465" signifies that the piece is classified as a bandolier or ammunition pouch. The "01" signifies that the codification country is the United States. The remaining digits are the item number.
