Good for holding stuff
Review by Keepshooting Customer
It’s strong, color is awesome. BUt there is soooo much excess! Like half a foot. Maybe that’s not excess, but that seems like a ton. You can cut the end so I guess that’s ok, but that’s my only beef with it

rothco and chestertonian conservatism
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Not many things (except rothco cord) come from Fort NIck NY...thankfully there is amazon, this cord is just the thing when you have stuff to hang and can't find nails, straight and plenty of cord and as green as some ether used in Viet Nam (was only slightly kidding but...never served). So rothco in lightweight strong nylon (HYDE has similar for different uses, better cord though is from BAKER at same price), ranger bands, whatever it needs. Have used (once in Hurricane Sandy while getting wood and electric wires (yes, cord and then later two cut electric wires to make handlines - thank you chestertonian fence guy !)). Use from backpacker to NY State police for back up...do keep mind wind strength as may snap in strong or windy condiitons (cold not an issue). Bottom: you have life emergency uses to heavy duty for just about anything, especially life jacket! Bailing kayak ?! Made in U.S.a so all american-land....and all it needs is you. Not in your pocket or backpack as gets cold (so only buy to hold onto), otherwise, order up. Wish made more for neck cord as so handy around the neck for "chestertonian low level thrill of expectation" for cold day/s in the city. What if your boat or shelter (paracord "double") canoer etc breaks? Well , use this to suspend you while it waits on for help - hmmmm if needed, which sits just out the window of your office.... No need for metal stuff if the Cord last and in decent sizes so don't take for small stuff if need heavy work. What a time saver over sticks, stones or ice, or no rope to tug with (fine idea in wilder places, out doors where "the scree falls silent" when alone with your mind- if- but not in traffic/peopleland). O.K.-off subject: Focus a safe group where helpers not hurt; make clear "paranoid about your where-abouts if we

Good value for your buck. Not really sure how ...
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Good value for your buck. Not really sure how this compares to genuine mil-spec cord, but it seems to be made of similar quality materials. Colors hold well after exposure to sunlight, but keep in mind, due to its composition, para cord is supposed to degrade with use. If there's one thing to complain about, its a little tight in the first few yards when it's first taken out of the spool. I'm using the 550 for an RV recovery system and am pleasantly surprised with the results so far. A couple quick words of advice if you plan on making an actual hang glider or swing seat. You need a couple dozen feet to begin with. When making a true swivel for the seat, don't try using one that uses an eye-ring with one loop as you'll have to thread the paracord through a V or U, as this cord is pretty slick and slides right through, unlike some of the higher grade stuff. Be sure to wrap the swivel twice around itself as a back-up. I don't recommend cutting corners with the loops. I use two different designs, the modified cowboy (mystery link below) and using cord clips, but you'll have to search YouTube to find a decent tutorial for either method. In conclusion, I have not encountered a reason to not recommend using Rothco Paracord as a tow rope for any of your RV needs. There's lots of fun things to do with this great material and I'm sure there are hundreds of uses you'll find. The folks at Ozark Trail RV Park. A true paradise. They've made all of their cable tow ropes from 550. I highly recommend you look them up if you're heading to the RV capital of Missouri! Hope this helps someone, until next time! 5 stars and recommend to any in my tow rig to use para cord. Good stuff, indeed.

Wide Range of Colors!
Review by Keepshooting Customer
This paracord seems like a great value for the price. This paracord feels a little thicker than most of the 50ft pieces out there, and it has a wider range of colors to choose from than other paracord sources. For example, I was unable to find any place else that had black, yellow, blue, or white, but here at amazon I found them all. It also has some very helpful die marks at both ends, telling you in plain English what number die was used to make that length of paracord. The quality seems to be good, but time will tell if it is good or not. The die colors seem to be accurate to what I see, but only time will tell if the paracord stays good and usable.

Better Than The "Big Box" stores
Review by Keepshooting Customer
Excellent! Will definitely buy again! Thicker and of better quality then the store brands! I've had these products now for over a year with no issues! And no dry rot! Just wish Amazon sold it by the full tractor-trailer load!!! Lol. Great prices! Can't go wrong with Amazon! Get some while you can!!! 5++++ Stars !
