This is one of the nice rails for your AK
Review by RemMax
I have 3 of these from different manufactures
the first one I bought it from another company I won't name in short it was made of that "Phenalalic" material, aka PLASTIC! That one is junk
After that I bought one from Red Star Arms along with there adjustable triggers for my PSL and Super Vepr and that is a nice rail.
But it costs double what this rail does and just like this rail it is made of metal.
Then I ran across these rails made by AIM and saw they were also made of metal (aluminum but still plenty sturdy) and at half the price of the Red Star I bought it and mounted it on one of my AK72's with a Bushnell 3x9x40 scope and it has held just as solid as the more expensive one.
You have to remove your rear sight as this one mounts to your rear sight base, runs over your topcover and attaches to the rear Tang Screw
Cleaning your gun is still easy enough, you simply remove the rear screw, pivot the entire rail and scope up out of the way, remove your top cover and clean as normal.
Once your done cleaning you replace your top cover and swing your rail back down and re-install your rear sock screw in the tang and your right back on Zero
Overall this is the best value I have found for any of the various AK rails on the market today.
If you ever wanted to put an optic on your AK but didn't like the top cover mounts then this is the mount for you.
I personally took that 3 rail riser off mine and tossed it in the spare parts box, the rail is the perfect height just like it is.
Also KeepShooting has the best price I have seen on this rail anywhere!
Thanks for the great prices guys.
