If you are looking to add cool points at the range or scare the pants off a would be intruder, then this might be something you'd be interested in. However, they are not the most secure choice. In fact, most mag couplers are more useful as intimidation than use. They can easily shift around no matter how tight you get them. They are actually slower for reloads. They add substantially more weight to the rifle. And it's not like they will fit in a mag pouch. But like a drum, it helps to increase your round carrying capacity after you have as much as possible on your body. Cool points!
more useless couplers!
Like every AK mag coupler I've ever owned, these are unsteady and quite useless. No matter how tight you get them, they still get all out of whack pretty easily. If you tighten them too much they break. This is why most pros just USS mag pouches and learn proper reloading skills.
Different than pictured but still top quality
All the pictures shown are of a CAA 2 point coupler, but the one that I got was a sturdier single point coupler. Not really a huge deal, just a little less versatile, still CAA which is made in Israel. It's very possible that Musad uses these mag couplers with their Galil rifles.
