KNS Precision "cross hair" type front sights offer the shooter a front sight that covers less of the target at longer ranges. The .240 diameter CNC machined blackened brass housing offers a large, bright field of view. Standard sights have a .082 long housing. Cross hairs are heat-treated beryllium wire .010 in diameter. Duplex thick section is .020 diameter.

You can't see both the target and the crosshairs at the same time on short ranged shots. If you take it out further, it gets worse because the ring covers the entire target. If you take it out to around 300m plus, then you can see the target inside the ring and use the crosshairs. If you plan on shooting at maximum accuracy range all the time with your ak using iron sights, then this is a good idea. Good construction too.

This is a great sight I would not use it for hunting or anything tactical because it can get be easy to loose in bright light no light or jammed up with mud or snow. Price is right.

This sight may be more show than functionality but they at least made it right. The wire crosshairs can be a little bit hard to see in lower light but the round outer reticle helps sighting speed and accuracy tremendously. It was worth it to also purchase the AK front sight tool also available on this website.
