I have a couple of Beta C mag 100rnd drums for my AR's and for dumping a lot of ammo those are fun
BUT.. Most of the shooting I do is off a bench and as such I still prefer the 20rnd mag over any of the other choices available
I picked up a few more of these Bushy 20 round mags due to their quality and still love them over any of my other AR mags
I bought my Bushy 14.5AK Shorty around 89 and still have the original mags I shoot it with.
After I bought that one I was hooked or AR's.
I still have the 2 factory 20-round mags that came with it and a buck of "Adventure Line 20rnd mil-surp mags I use in it and my other AR's.
I prefer the 20 round mags so when I shoot off a bench with the short Harris Bipod it clears the table.
I use 30's in contentions where I'm shooting off hand but I mostly use the 20's.
All of my mags are in good shape but my Bushmaster mags are better quality than my Colts even.
Best quality AR mag you can buy.
I actually prefer these twenty rounders unless I am shooting a whole lot of ammo. They make the gun much more maneuverable and don't get in the way as much. If i owned a full auto. I'd would definitely prefer the thirties or bigger. But I don't.....yet.
great mag. i have one that came with my bushy. quality is good but ya can't beat it up too much cause it is aluminum. like it says they're best for bench rest shooting as they don't hang down as far as the 30 rd mags. i got several more (colt and other brands) and the colt and bushmasters seem to be the best so far.
