The Shemagh has been one of the most essential items for any travel in the desert since it was first designed. With the desert environment presenting numerous threats, the Shemagh is a simple and effective way to protect yourself from many of them. Sun exposure, wind burn, and sand can all be extremely hazardous and when presented with all three precautions need to be taken. Wearing a Shemagh as a protective layer will ensure that your face and neck are protected from exposure.
The Shemagh is can be quite useful and serve many purposes even outside of the desert. You will find that the design of the Shemagh makes it ideal for wearing as a traditional scarf. Made from 100% cotton, the Shemagh is light weight and does not feel as confining as most winter scarves feel. The length of each Shemagh is long enough that you could double layer on cold days and single layer on days where there is not as much of a need. One of the best aspects of using a Shemagh as a traditional scarf is they have been fashionable for several years now. With the additional colors and print patterns we now have, you will surely find one that you would like to have in your wardrobe.
It's the usual sort of shemagh - good as a hat, scarf, sling, bag. You name it. It does it.
Comfort as well as big room drape head and neck. Cotton is breathable and is well made thanks, orders mine Coyote /Brown to go with terrain in my immediate area of action. Hope you are satisfied as I am with purchase.
This Shemagh is made of cotton and had the pattern embroidered onto it, not printed like some of the cheaper shamagh scarfs available. This scarf is a huge 43" x 43". Opposing sides of this scarf have a plain edge, while the other two sides have the edges tied into little knots as shown in the item description photo. The cotton is lightweight enough to allow some breathability, but when doubled over, will allow the wearer to stay warm. Price is comparable to other scarfs available online, would buy additional scarfs if a little cheaper. Overall, I like it. Thanks Keep Shooting for your fine products!
