So I took a gamble.... With a good result. Amazing that someone designed a poncho to be this elaborate. The snaps are in very intuitive positions for different configurations.
I was initially thinking "ground cloth". That will not be the case unless one is needed as one. Both appeared to be brand new, one with some slight staining on the folded areas... No big thing. I see these as being totally useful for a multitude of purposes.
After a wash and a soak in a nylon water repellency treatment , I seem to have a good deal of water shedding happening... Good deal! And to think that I can now hide behind my shovel next winter...she'll never see me, I'll go undetected. Brilliant ... Make for a good ghost on Holloween as well.
See, I told you they are handy little numbers.

I have not been able to try this out in the rain, but it is kind of like a rain poncho. Light weight, with buttons to adjust the length, extra long in the back to cover your back pack and gear. I got it with the Italian face mask to blend in with the snow. It will be great for winter air soft.

Nice light weight poncho. Nice and long to cover your gear and folds down pretty small. They are used and white so yeah you get a couple of blemishes but nothing that makes them serviceable.

Water proof poncho. Good to have in your militia go to war kit. Get a couple, to make a snow camo shelter or to wear in snowy weather to stay dry.
