I've wrested with zippers and straps on winter gaiters for years. I always liked the look of Puttees, but I thought "OK, these are some low tech ancestor of the gaiter". Wrong! Once you figure it out, they go on in about 30 seconds, keep your legs much warmer than uninsulated gaiters, and shed all snow. Anybody wanna buy some lightly-used nylon gaiters?

these are fantastic and very high quality. hey are made of thick wool with rugged straps that will fit pretty much anyone. They can also be used for your arms if you layer them a bit more. I don't do this normally, but I liked them so much I ordered a second pair!

I wear leg braces and use these between my socks and my braces. They add cushion and warmth. The wool is treated with Mittin FF, so moths should not be a problem.

I've ordered a few pairs of wraps from other sites at twice the price in tatty condition.
These are brand new, made of thick durable high quality wool.. And fit my legs perfectly and I'm 6'2.
No brainier.

My leg wraps just arrived today and I am one happy camper. You are paying $2.50 a wrap which is an absolute steal, as I've seen this exact leg wraps advertised on other sites for 3x the money.
Mine came sealed in a plastic bag, so they were in pristine condition. No moth holes, no discoloration, nothing. The wool is very fine quality with just the right amount of stretch, likewise the stitching is precise and strong. No danger of these coming apart at the seams! Each wrap measures in at 4 feet, so you will be able to wrap your legs to about mid-shin or just give yourself some ample ankle cushioning.
I threw these on over corduroy pants and leather low boots and immediately felt like taking to the woods to disrupt the German war effort. 5 stars!

Nice quality wool. Overall length of wool portion is 4 feet so you have to be efficient when wrapping your legs. Cheap gaiters for hiking in light snow conditions.
