Beretta 92A1 CO2 Full Auto BB Pistol

The Beretta 92A1 CO2 Pistol is a full-auto capable airgun that is an authentic Beretta licensed pistol. With the look, feel, and operational characteristics of the real Beretta 92 handgun this CO2 pistol makes an excellent training tool. There is a small difference between the real Beretta 92A1 and the CO2 pistol replica and that is the addition of a select-fire switch. When this selector is flipped up this air pistol will fire continuously until you release the trigger in full auto mode, whire will empty all 18 BBs in less than 1/2 of a second.

Solid gun, full auto doesn't work the way its supposed to

Review by Xandra M.

The construction and build quality are great, but it just won't fire full auto for me. The selector moves and clicks, but nothing doing. Works fine in single shot. Even on auto, it still fires, just once per trigger pull.

Easily became one of my favorites.

Review by Lesia W.

This one has such a great feel to it. The weight is great and it has a decent kick from the blowback. Both full auto and single fire are fun, and I find myself shooting this one a lot. And for the price, you definitely can't beat it. I have a decent little collection and this one became one of my favorites the moment I took it out of the box.

Awful magazine. Awful co2 compartment.

Review by Mandrell S.

With your allen wrench you have to finagle the hell out of the cap which has no backing against the loaded co2 in order to pierce the cartridge which takes 5 minutes to do. The magazine spring slider is so small you need a pen to force it into position just to load the magazine. Wait or pass on this model for better alternative full auto bb guns.

You have to remove the CO2 tightening screw to insert a cartridge. It is so badly designed that getting it back in after unscrewing is a nightmare and renders this item useless.

Review by Lorren H.

The airgun felt very realistic and felt of good quality, but after putting in co2 and shooting it in semi I was happy, but I got the item for full auto.
Which to me unexpectedly the full auto function did not work properly.

Good quality and solid feel. Problem is with accuracy

Review by Sarajane B.

This BB pistol would get an easy 5 star review from me except for the accuracy of its sights. At first it seemed no big deal that the pistol shot low when lined up front and rear sights. Then as I shot more I realized that the thing shot so dramatically low that it made the whole otherwise well tooled gun just another toy. At full power, I always get a 3 inch drop. That is unacceptable. you have to aim so high to compensate that many times it obscures the target itself. Solid, fun, great attention to Beretta detail, but useless for target shooting.

Cant get more real looking than this gun

Review by Jessia T.

So I broke out my old gear from the attic, found my old co2 gun up there, as it was really old it didnt work, the gas would leak out fast, but it kindled something inside of me that wanted to shoot bottles and cans from a fence... So I bought this and this is my review...

Pros -
This gun looks and feels real, I am experienced in these weapons and unless I took out the club and looked, I could not tell the difference at all.. The weight of the gun is about 2 and half pounds, and all metal, I dont think the real gun is that heavy...
The Auto fire feature is very cool, you can clear the clip in less than 2 seconds.. and giggle at the end of each clip..
The back flow is also very cool giving it a more realistic feel when firing the gun.
The simple feel of the gun is just great, I love having it in my hand and shooting it...

CONS =
Its really heavy, after a while of shooting you actually do get a little fatigued, the real gun I think is about 3/4 the weight of this gun.. If feels good, but really a bit heavy in your hand.

Loading this thing is not easy, the bbs fit in the clip along with the gas canister, the little handle to pull down the spring so you can load the bbs are so far in that it takes several tries to get it to stay... Then the hole is almost in the middle of the clip.. which only allows for 18 bbs.. but it can easily hold 25.. Full auto clears the clip in 2 seconds, so more bbs in the clip is almost necessary..

Not as accurate as you would think it would be, Berretta is a great gun name, so I was surprised that the sights were so off and no way to adjust them? this was an oversight I am sure.

Blow back is great, but it uses the gas and pressure to be able to do it and the gun is all meatal, so it does take quite a bit of pressure for that to work.. So as this will use your gas pretty quick as well, when you couple that with the auto fire, you may only get about 3 maybe 4 clips of ammo per gas charge.

Loading the gas canister is like trying to do one of those finger puzzles, its round and indented, and they give you a tool for it, but... the hole where the tool goes happens to go all the way through, so you cant just put it on that way you need to finger it on and that is not easy, as it could cross thread over and over, eventually I do get it after about 5 or 6 tries.. Gets frustrating for sure...

The price - Now this is one of the most expensive ones out there at about 130 bucks a pop, but it is a replica and a perfect one at that, so although I am not sure I would purchase it again at that price, I am not sad I have it...

FINAL THOUGHT -

The gun looks and feels real, if you are a collector, and want a real Berretta, this is the one for you, Shooting it is very fun, single shot has a little more accuracy and can shoot bottles off the fence, auto mode is not for accuracy and more for just fun, because you will loose it when you shoot it in full auto...

Would I buy it again now..... Yeah, I think I would.. It is a replica, and super accurate one too... So I would recommend it... But keep in mind my cons when you do... its a pain in the ass to load and gas.. but once they are... man its fun! Hope this helped you make a good purchasing decision.

Does NOT fit a Crosman P1 Not sure how it works on an Umarex

Review by Carlotta C.

I purchased two of these for my Crosman P1 hoping they would fit. Unfortunately there are just enough differences that they won’t fit. Bummer! There are rounded bump-outs near the bottom of the clip that keep it from seating all the way. Also, one came out of the sealed plastic bag missing the threaded Cap that holds the co2 cartridge in place. My options are return them or maybe just splurge and get an Umarex, ....can’t decide

Totally Awesome

Review by Gerasimos H.

What a fun gun to shoot. Looks just like my 9mm and feels like it too. The full auto is pretty cool and with the blow back gives you the feeling of the real thing. Get a extra mag or two as the thing can shoot a bunch of BB's pretty quick. I put a laser on mine and works awesome, when I placed my real gun and this one on the table and ask which one is real they will choose the BB gun with the laser on it or tell me they are both real.

Great

Review by Arvid S.

*I have read just about all the 1-3 star reviews and I do not know what the reviewers are talking about. It is true that the users guide is a bit scant but a little common sense works well. 1. Loading the Magazine is easy - first pull the spring all the way down and push to the left and it will lock in place, then add the BBs through the hole just above the spring lock, when full release the lock. Problems with the co2 cartridges?? Prior to loading the cartridge, a drop of oil on the tip serves to lubricate the seal and serves to seal the cartridge when tightened; without the oil you may experience co2 leakage. I and no one I know has had a problem with the safety or the slide stop. Recommend a swabbing of the barrel every so often with BB gun oil and a .177 cleaning rod. Remember steel BBs only Brass BBs will leave a coating and build up in the barrel. I gave only shot it out to 10-15 meters an found it to be very accurate with the proper technique.

Awesome Full Auto Airgun

Review by Floyd T.

pro:
1. heavy metal weight, close feeling to the real gun.
2. full auto mode feels awesome.
3. magazine completely covers the CO2 cartridge, looks more realistic than exposed ones.
4. slide can be taken off just like the real gun.
5. safety works just fine.
6. blowback feeling is great.
con:
1. magazine spring too tight, lacks ridge to slide the BB follower.
2. BB loads from downward, feels weird.
3. sometimes the BB gets pushed out of the muzzle as the slide returns, and the action is not very smooth when loading.
4. magazine gets scratched very easily even if loading and unloading following the procedure.
5. muzzle velocity is not as high as other Beretta models.
6. not particularly accurate even for short distances.
7. comes with no CO2 cartridges or BBs.

Great airgun, but not perfect

Review by Jerek F.

First, let me get the positives out of the way. This is a super realistic rendition of a real M9A1 Beretta. The weight, the look, the feel, and the way it functions is absolutely spot-on. If it wasn't for the negatives I'm about to give it could easily have been my favorite airgun.

So what negatives, you ask? First, it shoots very low. At 30 feet BBs impact 6-8 inches below point of aim. I have to hold with the top of the rear sight level with the bottom of the front. Second, my first one broke during its third range session. A metal piece inside snapped in two and the hammer would no longer cock. Fortunately Amazon replaced the pistol immediately, and so far (fingers crossed) the second one is holding up. Unfortunately it also shoots 6-8 inches low, so it's definitely wasn't just a problem with the first one.

Overall it's a very fun pistol otherwise, and if you own a real Beretta it could make a great training pistol, assuming you can deal with the poor regulation of the sights. I hardly ever bother with the full-auto feature, as it merely wastes BBs and the real deal isn't a machine gun anyway.

Good price for the product

Review by Eran U.

The workmanship is better on this 92F model than Crossman's offering, but it has several aluminum parts that will lose the paint quickly. It's not blued, like steel would be. It wasn't bone dry upon arrival, but definitely needed an oil bath. Picatinny rail system accepted my greed dot sight easily, and magazine drops free as it should. It has a solid heft to it.
I strongly recommend extra magazines, or you'll be reloading more than shooting.
