British Army Desert Camo Windproof Smock
The British Army Desert Camo Windproof Smock is a genuine UK military-issue over-layer cut in the iconic two-color Desert DPM pattern. Built from tightly woven windproof cotton, it features a wire-reinforced adjustable hood, four expandable bellows pockets, twin zippered chest map pockets, hook-and-loop cuffs, and a drawcord waist and hem to lock out wind and sand. The oversized cut leaves plenty of room for fleece liners and load-bearing gear underneath. Originally fielded by SAS Paratroopers and still recognized worldwide as the SAS Para Smock, this jacket is built for desert operations, field use, hunting, bushcraft, and serious outdoor work.

- Wire-Reinforced Hood — Adjustable hood with a wired brim that holds its shape to maintain peripheral vision and protect against driving wind and sand.
- Four Bellows Cargo Pockets — Two expandable chest pockets and two waist pockets with buttoned flaps swallow maps, IFAKs, magazines, comms, and rations.
- Twin Zippered Map Pockets — Internal chest map pockets with zip closures keep documents and small electronics secure and dry.
- Soldier 95 Slotted Buttons — Heavy-duty MOD-spec slotted buttons resist snagging and can be replaced in the field without tools.
- Hook-and-Loop Cuffs — Adjustable cuffs cinch down over gloves to seal out wind, dust, and debris.
- Drawcord Waist and Hem — Independent waist and hem drawcords lock the smock down against the body to block wind incursion from below.
