British MkII Snow Gaiters

The British MkII Snow Gaiters are a modern military issue gaiter made from material similar to Gore-tex. Light weight, water resistant, and breathable these gaiters are ideal for wearing over your boots for extended periods of time in bad weather. Soldiers in the British Army have been issued this model of Gaiters since the 1990s and it continues to be the standard issue gaiter for the British Army.

British MkII Gaiters are designed to be easy to deploy by soldiers in the field. The entire side lengths of each gaiter feature a zipper that is made to last by YKK and covered by a velcro sealed flap. The top of each gaiter stays in place by using the elastic drawstring style closure that will allow the gaiter to stay in place without restricting movement. On the bottom of each gaiter is a rubber strap that goes underneath your boots and is secured in place by the fastening system to keep the gaiters snug so they perform in bad weather.
