The British Osprey MkII system is a British Ministry of Defense designed body armor system. With an emphasis on being fully modular and build around a traditional vest configuration, pouches and accessories are universally compatible among all Osprey designated gear. This modular design has numerous benefits to include standardized supply chain in the field, cross compatibility between load bearing vest and armor system, and reduced training issues for soldiers and support staff.
These Osprey MkII Plate Carrier Systems came to us from a British Ministry of Defense offering of goods that were never issued. This means the plate carrier system you receive will be brand new without any signs of use and will be ready for you to customize to your own specifications. Some of the customization options would include deciding which type of armor plates to purchase for the front and rear panels or which Osprey pouches you would like to add. One of the best things about the Osprey system is that it makes extensive use of Molle attachment points so you can also utilize non-Osprey specific pouches or gear with your Osprey MkII body armor system.

The product arrived in great condition, it came with some extra pouches. The vest alone is very comfortable and it breaths very well. All you need is to get a few plates at it's all there. For the price you won't find a better deal. I'm very pleased like always A+
Two day shipping got me by surprise, but it's an amazing brand new feel set of armor with no signs of prior use. For me it came with both size collars, spare link clips, two ammo pouches, and a medical pouch. It took me about a half our to figure how the vest went together, but now I got it. My only woe is that a manual didn't come with it, but that's a small complaint. I hope keep shooting gets more stock of the filler Kevlar.
I concur, a bit of a trick to figure out, but if you can get the Brit manual, it helps. A VERY well made carrier, much sturdier, though warmer, than my US Mil issue carrier, with far more areas protected. I'm a BIG guy, 6'4, 60"shoulders. It's warm, and a bit snug, but with some AR-500 plates it's definitely a good choice. It would be nice to get the inserts. Hint.
A well built NEW carrier comes with both collars , a few pouches . The inside material is a mesh so your skin breathes. The mollee system is 360 degrees so plenty of places to hang stuff. It has the built in connectors to hang the Brit camelbak . The plate pouches are big like xl sapi size not 100% sure. the brassards (deltoid protectors) and collars (full and half height)take a few minutes to figure out but the snaps help line the pieces up. I hope Keepshooting gets the soft inserts for these again, as the carrier is new and will last years. Overall very happy as always with their products.
