Great Bag Easy Customization
Verified Buyer
I love the bag for the space and no BS compartments. JUST ONE BIG SPACE. I did however swap the main compartments straps to clips for easier access. I also added a chest strap I had from another bag. But aside from that I'm happy. It holds so much more and the side pockets are roomy. The overflap of the main compartments also allows you to strap in a small blanket and or jacket for easy access and no fold. Great bag overall.
Good order, Not secure with heavy weight

An overall decent backpack. It was able to fit nearly all the supplies I had in my normal one. The only problem is that if the shoulder straps are put under too much weight (e.g. putting heavy books in it) the straps connecting those would quickly undo. Good backpack, But you have the secure the shoulder straps a lot more than usual.
Perfect for my 12 yo

My 12 yo is totally into WW stuff and begged for an Alice backpack for Christmas. This worked out great!
Great style and classy look

Straps have no padding, but surprisingly comfortable... FYI, you can barely fit a 1qt canteen in the middle pocket impossible on the side ones.
Good for the price

pretty good bag so far . i take it to work for lunch also as get home bag (just in case) . stores my flashlight, gloves , etc..ect... i put my lunch and shades in the pockets no complaints so far. only thing i noticed is the tieoff buckles are made of a thin gauge metal . dont see that part lasting long
Not comfortable at all

I bought for a hiking day pack. Material, straps and buckles feel decent and i can fit more than i need for a day trip. Compared to my alice pack, its about 3/4 the size. Once I had it packed i knew instantly it was going to be uncomfortable. I wish I had paid more attention to shoulder strap placement. Both shoulder straps meet in the middle so you cant it to sit comfortably. Im not a very big dude, 5'8 and a little wide. This pack sits a good 3-4 inches below the base of my neck. Shoulder straps are wide enough not to dig in but are not padded. For $24 im not mad. Ill use it for an extra gear bag. Dont buy if you plan on hiking or carrying for long periods of time, your back will regret it.
Would buy it again

First off the good points.
Heavy canvas and wide shoulder straps that are heavily stitched and sturdy enough is the best I can say. Main bag is roomy and is big enough for you to overload it! Wink.
Now the bad.
Buckles for shoulder straps won't grip the strap properly so it slips to longest position with any kind of load. To prevent slippage, the end must be run back through the end of the buckle to create a second tension point. This prevents readjusting the straps once on the back as needed. The side pockets have a diagonal stitch at both top corners that prevents the pocket from fully opening. For example, the pocket is wide enough for two 20 oz water bottles but the "neck" formed by the stitches means you must squish one to fit through the neck and unsquish after getting it in. A pair of light leather gloves must be rolled tightly to fit through then unrolled once inside to lay flat. A normal size roll of toilet paper would fit easily in the pocket except it can't get through the pocket neck. Frustrating. Will end up cutting the stitches.
I loaded 40 lbs of gear/food in the bag but it was too much. I know it's a day bag but just wanted to warn you it's easy to get carried away filling it.
Probably better as a beach bag than a overnight or weekend hiking pack but that depends on the load.
Good for casual use

If you're a student and wanna look cool as hell carrying books and whatever, buy this. If you want to take it camping/hiking, it won't last. First hike the metal clips bent making the shoulder strap completely come out. You might think oh that might not happen to me, or, what the hell its only like 30 bucks. The metal is really cheap and bends very easily. the straps are thin and uncomfortable when the bag is full of heavy items. Other than that I have to admit aesthetically it looks awesome. You get what you pay for. I'll definitely still use it.
