It's bold and a good, heavy weight. I read the reviews and bought it in spite of many saying it was going to shrink to ant-man size. I washed it in cold water and dried it in a HOT drier because it's size Small and I needed t to shrink! I'm usually a size Small and this shirt swallowed me. It did shrink a little and I could have kept it except for 2 things: The material sheds and pills too much. Flannel will always do that some, agreed. I find this to be excessive, invading the lighter color squares with blobs of the darker. The deal-killer for me was the craftsmanship, or lack of. The stitching was minimal to concerning, no reinforcement anywhere, serged and not flattened. This gives me peace with sending this beautiful shirt back.

Love this flannel. Material is great, heavy duty. What you expect a flannel should be. Only problem is they run small. Order a size up if you like a snug fit

Love this shirt but even washing in cold with woolite it shrank.
