M3 Trench Knife

While I would love to own a real life replica of the famous Fairburn Fagan OAM commando knife from Australia, the Ontario knife is a very good second choice. The grip and construction will definitely do the job, though the pommel has the very distinct modern nylon construction as opposed to leather. Not sure if this one has saw teeth, as they aren't the best at marketing, however it is in the product description. My major gripe is that they chose orange over olive green for the colour, which just makes it stand out in an undesired way. I guess it is easier to distinguish but I can definitely tell the difference when comparing it to other kabars in olive. Overall I would say this is a good value product. It is very sturdy, sharp, and is of higher quality than expected for this kind of knife. It will do the job.

What can I say it’s a M3 NK. One sharp. Won’t need anything else. Wish this came in flat dark earth. For $50 what a steal!

Looks like a high quality reproduction to me. A true classic that's a little larger than what we're used to these days. This one will sit in my bug out bag as a little backup.

My husband bought this as a gift for his collection and said it is identical to the authentic he was issued in the 80's and 90's, with a new blade. This looks and feels authentic. He had no problems with the leather and the sheath, as some have said they have. Very happy with this item.

Exactly as expected, good steel, high carbon US made noice, lether sharp tip, nice parkerization coating on blade but its easily cleaned off to give a raw look. good blade for bushcraft work... but note if your looking for period 1940s type finish this is not the knife... the pic with finish makes the handle look too pretty and too nice. remember they had war on there hands then ... this isn’t made to be display in a collectors box ... it is made to go, put to work... I love it

My husband and I collect all of the Military Knives and this is the best knife in his collection.

Well balanced out of the box and great and sharp right out of the box. Nice looking blade as well.

I bought this to replace my original WWII MK III Trench Knife which was lost in a house fire last year. The new one is identical to the old one and I am very pleased with it.
