CETME 5 Round Magazine

The CETME 5-Round Magazine is an all steel military surplus magazine originally produced for use in the CETME rifle. With the CETME rifle being the basis for the HK G3, this magazine will also fit and feed in a HK G3 rifle. This magazine with the reduced 5-round capacity will allow you to use your CETME or HK91 to hunt in states which allow rifle use but require reduced magazine capacity.

Description

The CETME 5-Round Magazine is an all original military surplus magazine that was developed for the CETME rifle. For qualification and training purposes, the Spanish military standardized this 5-round magazine for these purposes. With basic training and qualification consisting of demonstrating proficiency with 5-rounds, there was a clear and compelling reason for development of this magazine.

Now that this magazine is available in the United States, it has many practical uses. First and foremost, it is a reliable military magazine for use by those who live in states which restrict magazine capacity. For those who want to use their CETME or HK91 for hunting, this reduced capacity magazine will also open up this possibility as it conforms to restrictions on capacity for rifle hunting.

The CETME 5 round mags work great. No they are not a factory HK 5 rounder but it does the job well. I have several and they work well in my 1990 HK SR9 (postban HK91). Great for bench rest shooting too. Well made out of steel., look to be Spanish made.. May have storage grease. Fits almost flush in the magazine well of a CETME, PTR91 or HK91/ G3. They have gone up in price a little since I bought mine a while back.
