How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end around the waistband for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from the outside of one leg hole to the other. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down to the end of the BDU Shorts. To find the outseam length, measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the hem.

Comfortable. Pockets on right. Poor zipper and metal fastenerPockets are on right side. The velcro straps make for a nice adjustable waist and tightening. It does feel more baggy than I was hoping. Pockets have openings in the sides, unlike the left side pockets on a regular BDU which has openings in the top. This design might make it more vulnerable to pick pocketing if that's something you are worried about. The zipper is not great. Metal part has come unattached from teeth. I hope I can still zip it up and it doesn't fall apart. Also the plastic fastener on the front of the fly is very cheaply made. It's a bit wobbly. Not impressed. They're very comfortable, and I think they'll be useful. I'll probably end up ordering a second pair. I wish the front pockets weren't metal, as that will probably lead to a rip. I hope the waist and length adjusts with the straps like other BDU pants do. It's adjustable in length but that adjustability is on the fly. I hope the belt loop will still be good enough to clip my bowie knife onto. The fabric feels sturdy enough. They look a little big on me but then I know it is baggy and can be expected to be a bit too big for my waist. 4.5/5 would have been perfect but those metal zipper, fly plastic part and fly buckle are some cheap Chinese knock off stuff.

3rd purchase. Nice cammo pattern, well constructed, durable. I'm a big 6'5", about 250lbs, 38"w belt. 2xl large fits great. No need to worry about returnI bought these before and decided to buy another pair. I'm not disappointed. These are well made, true to size, very durable. These are great if you're working outside in any capacity or just running around the neighborhood or playing basketball. They're not form fitting like basketball shorts but not at all like cargos. Just the perfect mid way.
