Awesome little tactical EDC knife for only 30 dollars!

Awesome tactical style folding EDC blade from Columbia. Blade came very sharp and the flipper deployment was super smooth and super easy. I love the hard backdrop of carbon Fiber with the smooth texture and then a rubber like coating that covers the blade. When the knife is flipped open, there is almost zero play in the liner lock. Blade stays super locked and secure.

The material this knife comes from must be some kind of carbon or alloy steel, and the steel will only hold the blade's form, not edge. The material seems strong enough to cut itself, but won't retain an edge. You have to work the blade with an Arklas ceramic sharpening system with Diamad tapered rod to give it a good edge, about 10 minutes work. The good thing is that it keeps its edge. The stacked washers and locking hinge are the key feature. I've been a heavy outdoorsman for 50 years, owned dozens of knives, and these two features work the best.

This knife really has an easy feel to it, and just enough weight for my hand to feel its there. Easy pull out with one hand, yet its heavy enough to remain in place once deployed. Sharpened my pinky quite nicely for some fine work with the blade and serrations on the edge. Its held together very well for the small pieces, i dont have a screw driver and pliers dont look like i broke anything. All in all i really enjoy this style of EDC.

This is my first CRKT knife and I love it! The fit and finish are great, the lockup solid, and the blade sharpens up easily. It's also very comfortable to carry in your pocket or on your belt.

This is a great little knife! It's very sharp and has held up well to daily use. I have used it to cut rope, open boxes, etc., and it works perfectly. The clip holds it securely in place, but can be easily removed if you want to carry it in your pocket without it.
