Perfect Wool Blanket

I searched the internet for a great wool blanket and ended up purchasing this one. It arrived in about 5 days from when I placed my order. The blanket was in excellent condition and looks like it has never even been handled. There was no overwhelming scent to this blanket. It is very thick and well constructed and is pretty heavy too. I would recommend that you purchase several of these when you place your order! Thanks guys!

Amazing deal - gorgeous blanket

Firstly, I have just about every military surplus blanket on the market. This blanket easily ranks among the best. But by far, it's easily the best looking. photos don't do it justice.

Mine came in like new condition, zero mothball smell. Beautifully packed, nice thick and hairy. No wool blends here, 100%. The wool isn't nearly as rough as the Italian wool blanket. Very thick, and indeed does weigh 4.5 pounds.

Do yourself a favor and order more than one, I will be back for more this week. The cream color coupled with the baby blue stripes make it excellent for around the house or anywhere else. Going to have to buy my mother and the misses one of these. They just don't make them like they used to!

When I opened this blanket I caught myself saying, "Wow that is a nice blanket." The blanket I received is in like new condition. The wool seems to be of good quality. I have a German and a Swedish surplus blanket and the blanket is not as heavy grade wool as them, however the Czech blanket seems heavier than the US surplus ones. The wool is not as soft as, for instance, something that Woolrich makes; but it is not the scratchiest wool either. The blanket ends are stitched on two ends to prevent unraveling. The second wow in my review comes from when I took a whiff of the blanket; it reeks of naphthalene (moth balls). I think a day or two in the fresh air and the smell should dissipate. Overall it is a really nice blanket, especially for the price.
