Dutch Army Undershirt - One Size Fits Most Under Shirt
Dutch Army Undershirt
The Dutch Army Undershirt is a military surplus form-fitting undershirt from the Dutch Army. Constructed from polyester and spandex, this undershirt should be considered one-size-fits-most with it expanding or contracting based on the chest size of the wearer. With the cut of this shirt it is ideal for being worn as an under layer but can also be worn as a standalone shirt during the spring or summer.
The Dutch Army Undershirt is one of the more modern undershirts that we have seen from any military. We would describe this undershirt as being very similar to the popular compression shirts from big commercial companies. With the choice of a polyester blended with elastic for manufacturing these undershirts the result is an undershirt that is form fitting.
These undershirts can be comfortable as an under layer or can be worn as a standalone shirt as the cut and design lends well towards either scenario. The color of these undershirts is close to a dark coyote tan which is very popular as it can be worn with jeans or more formal clothing and match well. The stitching and construction of these undershirts is first class like all equipment from the Royal Dutch Army and will last for a long time.

This shirt is great. My wife took it from me. Fits both of us. I am 265 and 6'2 with a 50 in chest. She is much smaller than me. Fits both. I am ordering more on my nest order. 5usd is great price. Its akin to a thicker "underarmor" type material without paying a egregious amount.
Great addition to Dutch Uniforms
I bought this to pair with the Dutch pants I ordered and to compliment the Netherlands jungle set I own. This is a great base layer. I would even suggest it could make a fine body for a combat shirt. It is not super stretchy to the touch, but you feel it as you put it on how it expands. I am a Medium chested guy so it doesn't expand that much but these do appear pretty small at first. I probably wouldn't recommend buying this if you've expanded with manliness over the years to a fine degree, but it should fit most muscular and slim builds. Mine appears to be dated from 1991, and it looks a little old too, but don't be fooled, they are like new.
