What can I say, you know what to expect with an Alden branded Military Type Tops sweater, especially if you have one already and have used it. Excellent quality and finish, just what you would expect from an Alden branded garment and as always the fit and feel is perfect. Good on a warmer spring or autumn day, certainly up to any winter activity that you can do in lighter weight clothes, good in the snow and in a cold gusty wind.

Love this item. It is really nice and the wool will hold its shape. I'm a medium so i bought a small for my husband. I was surprised to find it way too small for him. My advice is to order two sizes larger. Other than that the fit is very true. The arms and chest are plenty roomy for a sweater like this. This is a great purchase for the price.

It is thin and well fitting, good product for the money, but it came to me torn on the seam. Shirt could use more stitching on sleeves and the hood is loose, could be used as a bed warmer for very cold nights... other than the fact that it arrived ripped, I like it. Also good product for the price and worth it if u need something like this, might as well buy two so you always have one.

A great alternative to British uniforms in times past

For someone with military and ex military clothing collections, I can say that in some cases it is nice to be able to pick up clothing that will remind one of their times spent wearing a uniform for various reasons, and for myself I am a Canadian so while many may have some nostalgia for various British made uniforms or insignia of former times past for the British Army or RAF, it is still nice to have something to remind one of these times when it comes to clothing. This certainly does. It was nice enough to have it made to military standards and size, with real attention to detail to the construction, while being priced quite reasonably. I would definitely buy it again if needed.

Excellent in every way. I got a 3X for a baggy-ish look and I love it! My grandfather was an enlisted Marine, which explains my love for it. Also reminds me of growing up around Marines, which explains the positive feeling. If you're an officer you may not like it.

It fits great , it's really warm for early 30s weather. Only downside it feels slightly on the smaller side . I wear a large in all of the American shirts. If you want to buy a large order one size up . Also if you don't wash it in hot water it doesn't get super shrunk so don't be alarmed if it doesn't feel quite right . It will be great when the temperature gets lower , right now it feels a little overkill for this weather . I will probably wash it on hot water just to see how it shrinks and what happens . Other than that this is an awesome product for an awesome price !!!

Good quality, lightweight, just right to wear with lighter weight sweatshirt type material or in the Fall with a lightweight pullover. Nice deep pockets and warm, not at all heavy for the description. It runs large and a small would probably be just fine, but my usual Large size fits it well. Nice piece of quality knit material for a good price. I really like it. UPDATE! Great looking sweater, perfect fit for my husbnad.

XL is nice fit for me at 6'0" 210lbs. The neck opening seems a bit large to me. My sweater has epaulette-like shoulder straps with a square of cloth on the shoulders. I did not see that in the product photo and wish it was not there. However, it is a very nice sweater. If you consider the arm length and the waist size, it does seem a bit small. But the arms are only a tad short if you roll up the cuffs; if you don't roll up the long cuffs, they are plenty long. The waist is tight, I assume, to keep you toasty. I haven't washed it to see how it stretches to fit. It does have a mild surplus smell but unlike some items I've purchased that needed a few days of hanging in the sunlight, this one will likely smell fresh after a single wash.
My sweater arrived with a tag that contained a barcode and read:

Upon opening, I thought this was a cotton sweater due to the texture and weave. This is very nice wool on the thick side and will stretch due to the type of weave. The KS description is very accurate. I like loose fitting clothes... This size 40, is more like a smaller size large. As stated the weave is very forgiving. New condition is no joke, this will serve me very well I assure you.
