    Brand spanking new with no milsurp smell, lol. Not much padding considering it is for electronics, just be gentle when setting it down.

    plasticky waterproof material but appears durable and will function for stated purpose. A larger laptop will be heavy with the thin strap but one can swap it out for something wider/padded so it's not a deal breaker

    Very well constructed seams and is weather resilient. It is a "bag" by its nature and not like the type of case that accommodates operating the computer while fastened inside. Roomy, with plenty of compartments and pockets, with a zippered sleeve inside . Cons are the plastic d-rings and clips for the shoulder strap and the metal clasps are about 1/4' offset on center with the outer flap, not sure if it is a production flaw or if it is intended that way to allow for bulkier contents. I gave this highest rating for its durable material, construction, and affordable price. This is ideal for wet weather transits, and expeditions to the great outdoors.
