French Army Jungle Boots

These are in NEW condition. I wear a size 11.5 or 12 and they are a little big, but that will give room for thicker wool socks in cooler weather. Made from thick cotton canvas, should be very breathable. Nylon and leather with GoreTex get clammy, these should be great in spring, summer and fall. Tough to find a similar constructed boot, great price and deal!

These are the real deal. Hard to find. Fit is perfect. Scotchguarded them to keep the wet out from wandering in the woods. Well made, good supports (I got the best inserts I could find and saved the French cork one for later). Ordered a second pair, although I think they will stand up for many, many years.

So glad I finally took a chance on these after watching the offered sizes slowly dwindle down to only my size left. (Meant to be?!?)

Pros - Well made - seem much more substantial than they look on the website. Price - where else are you going to find a pair of boots this nice for this price? Nowhere. Size - I usually need a size US 12.5 in boots. Good luck finding them. Euro size 46, which these came in, is right about a US 12.5. It's like they were made for me. I always try to find Euro size shoes and boots because the US sizing system, for me, sucks. Evidently American men do not have a size 12.5 foot but Europeans do.

Cons - The only one I can think of is the insoles are a little on the flimsy side. They're ok and do the job but if you're looking for a spongy walk, then maybe bank on a < $10 pair of Dr. Scholl's cushion insoles or similar.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Would buy again and also recommend to a friend.

These are better than expected. I live in Florida, so jungle boots are a must have item. Never seen this particular style before, so I was a bit hesitant on ordering, however, I'm glad I did. Quality is superb. Lightweight and rigged.

Very high quality product. Better than commercially available versions, full boot version too. Excellent fit. Very comfortable with a shoe insert, our you can keep the issue insert if your feel are not tender.

They just arrived yesterday. Used - but nearly new condition. Removed the issue cork insoles and installed my usual arch supports. The boots fit great and they should last many years. Light weight canvas sides with thick rubber soles.
