French Army Medical Box

The French Army Medical Box is an authentic steel box from the French Army medical corps. These boxes are designed to hold equipment and supplies that need to be protected from water and humidity. This protection is easily provided by these steel boxes as the lids contain a rubber gasket that creates an effective seal once the boxes are closed.

The French Army operates in areas all around the world due to the vast network of former French territories. This presents requirements for gear and equipment that can resist high temperatures, heavy rain, and high humidity. These medical corps boxes are an example of this, as they were built to ensure the goods they transported were kept safe from physical or environmental damage.

Rusted shut on arrival, have yet to open
Unable to open the box on arrival. Inspection under the lip shows rust has formed between the lid and lip, sealing it shut. Penetrating oil has yet to have much effect; no discernable way to force it open without causing irreparable damage to the product.

Would be a good value at a good price, if it were usable... as it is currently nothing more than a static decoration, I'd say it's not worth what I paid.
