I purchased this jacket from keep shooting and couldn't be happier. Other names for it are the French Foreign Legion Fleece.
The price is again (I get tired of saying this in reference to keep shooting's deals) but absolutely insane. You will not find a better jacket, or this jacket, cheaper anywhere else on the net, period.
The jacket also mates perfectly with the French Goretex Parka jacket that KS also offers. I believe they are intended to be worn in tandem together when the temps drop.
I have other USGI military fleece jackets, but none as thick as this one.. Or frankly as good looking. It has served me well on many outdoor adventures.
Originally when I purchased it my father liked it so much and was so shocked at the price I got it for, he had me order him one the very next day. In short, you can't lose with this purchase. I love the way it looks and fits, but most importantly around town on freezing nights, all I need to do is throw this on with a t-shirt under it.
The high riding collar works wonders at blocking out those cold gusts as well when your outdoors. Can't beat it. One of my all time favorite pieces of kit. Durable as can be.
