French MAS Rifle Cover

Mine seems a little short for my Mas 49/56. I did manage to get it in but could not secure the strap. I hope it will stretch out some. The case is nice and in new condition.

Excellent quality and price. These are in really nice condition and are perfect for M1 carbine, Ruger 10/22 or, Ruger Mini-14. There are 8 "staples" that a leather strap threads thru to keep the case closed. Better have a screwdriver handy when you want to close the case from the top down so you can thread the strap through the "staples". It can be a little frustrating at first to close the case, but gets better once you close it a few times. Too bad the French never heard of the ZIPPER!

I ordered two of these hoping they would fit my Carbine and my other earlier model mas. No way will it fit the earlier Mas bolt action. Still though they are heavy duty well made and most small carbines will fit in them. Heck the price is right on these if you have rugged terrain you need to cross, this is the rifle case for you hands down!
