Description

The HK G3 Slim Handguard is an excellent part to have on hand for your HK G3 or G3 clone. These handguards are very well designed to ensure proper ventilation to the G3 barrel and sufficient protection for your hands during extended shooting sessions.

The exterior of the handguards are made from tough, rigid polymer that has been dyed olive drab green. There is a lined section of what appears to be aluminum inside of the handguard that will help dissipate the heat from the barrel. These two materials together have been used on a wide variety of battle rifles and assault weapons and continue to be used today.

I keep my particularly beautiful wooden stock set on for show, but when I hot the field, I throw on the weatherproof polymer stock and handguards. The heat shields keep the heat off longer than the wood as well.
