The German Army Cold Weather Pants are a pair of modern military issued winter pants. With a first world fighting force like the German Army, there is a need for being prepared with equipment to fight in any condition or climate. Recognizing that cold weather can stop a military and lead to defeat, the German Army decided to produce the best cold weather pants they could for their soldiers.

Once you pick up a pair of the German Army cold weather pants, you will quickly appreciate how well they are made. While they are similar in design to commercial snow pants, it is clear that these cold weather pants were designed for military use. I ordered Gr 3 7580/8595 (Inseam 29"-31" / Waist 33"-37") . I am 6'3', approx 190 lbs. Waist is perfect ( I take 34-36" waist, depending.). NOT a tight fit. Sit up on the hips, go on VERY EASILY cause side zippers. No, no pockets. The length is a tad short, but I think I can get around that.
These are so easy to put on and take off, it's ridiculous. I will love wearing thsese with my N3B snorkel parka. I will no longer be cold, and my old-man legs thank you !

Brand new and true to the description in every way.
I wish they were offered in a smaller size and also an unlined version.
These will be fantastic for the dreaded winter months. Great quality and price if they will fit you. KS measurements are accurate on these.
Rip stop material w/ fake fur lining, full length zip on both legs, Velcro at cuff, draw string & elastic waist. No pockets (down side)
For this price there is not a chance in hell you would find a better ski pant even at a season close out sale... That's final!

I'd be safe and warm..... if I was in LA!

These pants are the real deal. If you're not a fat 38waist like me, I begrudgedly had to send this well made, warm good looking winter outer trousers back. 1size bigger in waist, I'm there. These were made for fit military age males -I'm 50plus so didn't feel to bad, someone else can purchase these and enjoy the service these pants delivered. Good bye at price, as I do live in cold sunny California. Thanks!

Great pants, great value, two small issues

First off, these are great pants at a great price. Top notch construction/materials as I have come to expect from all German surplus clothing. I bought them to use as ski pants and they serve that function well, my butt stayed dry and warm all day. The only small issues I found is the obvious lack of pockets because of the side entrance zipper, wish they had a butt pocket. And they are pretty high-water in the ankle. Granted, I am 6'4" tall, but they sit high which may or may not be bad for some people. The velcro ankle closure went perfectly around the first strap on my ski boots and kept them in place basically all day, would also be good for snowshoeing. Overall great pants, would recommend.
