German Army Wool Sweater

Great piece of clothing. This is my second Commando Sweater, and this time in marooon. This sweater has it all. Very soft on the inside and rugged tough on the outside. The perfect weight and the pockets are a great idea, even the inside tags!

This has to be the most useful garment I own. I keep it on at all times, even during a summer barbecue or inside when its cold. In a pinch, it's an emergency blanket, a sled, makeshift weapon, waterproof shell and survival tarp. It is definitely made for hard service.

It does shrink a little after washing. I was just happy to find this brand in my size. Very nice and very comfortable.

I got the Navy Blue one. Exact as described. Will fit a small. Sleeves a tad short, but as it will be under a jacket they should be good.

Absolutely fantastic item of clothing, reminds me of my time in the Forces, only time you were properly rugged up, snug as a bug and warm as toast in -25 temperatures. Had to buy a 2x to fit over my other clothes. As with most military gear, if you want a perfect, exact fit, go 1-2 sizes down from your normal clothing.

Love it! I’ve got a XL now but I bought a large first, which was a little too big for me, so then I ordered an XL, and it fits perfect, a little loose but no more loose then I like my other sweaters to fit. It also came early, so that was a plus, took it hunting this past winter in NY and stayed nice and warm all day. The ribbed neck and cuffs are also warm on windy/cold days, no more of my fingers getting chilled when my sleeves got cold on my ski masks. Would 100% buy again!

I am happy with the sweater. I ordered 2 sweaters one XL, the other 2XL. The one I normally would order. The sweater is very soft and well made. I will recommend to others and purchase again if the need arises. My grandson likes them too and they washed well. He is going to get one for Christmas.
