The German Navy Commando Sweater is an authentic wool sweater from the German Navy. These sweaters are designed to keep sailors warm while on duty, either on their vessels or at port. Like all Commando sweaters, the forearms and shoulders of these sweaters are reinforced to allow these sweaters to stand up to use in duty stations that are physically demanding.

Description
The Commando Sweater has been a design that has been battle tested by virtually all modern military forces. With the original intention of producing a sweater to keep soldiers warm, the design has evolved to make a combat tough sweater for these war fighters. The German Navy Commando Sweater follows this design, with all of the expected Commando features present on each sweater.
In addition to the Commando sweater features like the reinforced forearms and shoulders, these German Navy Commando Sweaters have a few additional features. The first is on the shoulder of each sleeve there is a German flag sewn on. You will appreciate how this small flag increases the overall unique look that this Commando sweater has. There is also a Velcro sealed chest pocket, ideal for keeping things easily accessible throughout your day. Last but not lease, the dark Navy blue color of these sweaters will be appreciated by all who see them.

The garment looks as good as advertised. It is a little bit thicker than the garment being purchased, but a wash will take care of that and probably make it fit better. The large was too large. The large would fit an individual that has a 50 inch chest or a 48 inch chest and needs to wear a coat. The small would fit an individual that has a 38 inch chest or a 36 inch chest. A return is needed. I recommend this item, it looks good and I am sure it will feel good as well.

A good thick sweater for cool weather, not to warm and just right for outdoor activity! It holds up well and I have owned many, in different color schemes, for over 10 years! The only gripe I have is when the strings are pulled to close, as you might do to tighten the sweater, the neck area loosens up a bit, aka neck sag, but that is easily remedied by re-pulling the sweater closed. Still my favorite outdoor wear! I'm on my third set of sweaters and my second color! The tiger stripe ones look very stylish!

Its a really great and well made sweater, however I ordered a XL as a XXL fits more like a 2x but it was still nice and toasty for me, however beware the pull over is very thick but I love this sweater. The nylon shell is a blend and its really thick as well, and you can feel this with your fingers but its a good solid piece of cloth, overall a great buy and a must for cold days, I am definitely going to purchase more sweaters from this seller and brand, you cant beat the price for the quality of product!

Like it, but arms are a bit long for a size large. Could be due to wearing an extra large flannel shirt as base layer. Overall nice and snug. Fits as it should in torso area, but longer in arms than most of my large garmants, but probably good if you have an athletic arm.
