After having several Blackhawk Tactical drop holsters and a large assortment of clips and retention systems for them, I've decided that my LEO (Todd Lackey Construction Management and Investigations- CPA, LLC, Tualatin, OR) prefers this US Tactical version over any of the others that I've tried and discarded over the years. It may be heavier than the competing soft (i.e., leather) versions but this "rigger rig" with the Velcro closure and optional belt mount is well-made, highly durable, has a snugger retention system than any of the other hard (i.e., polymer, carbon fiber, etc.) types I've had, plus has the optional drop hammer for a last degree security feature. All this, plus an optional "Thumb Switch". Best I've ever found! I'm going to be on the lookout for one to use on duty and a couple more to wear off duty! And for duty-attached hardware: try a Glock Gen4 +2 (one size up from factory). Easy to fit in both the 10mm and 9mm models. I've had two versions of this holster, one for over 10 years. Only recently, did I discover that with both the double lock is not completely engaged (there's a notch). I have no idea why I've been holstering my gun this way all these years, however now, you have no problem keeping the trigger guard from moving forward. Otherwise, it's exactly the same holster as I had before, but a lil newer.

Stitching of on one size buckle smaller in this product that the hat size....needs one adjustable instead of a stitched adjustable

It fits great and is comfortable to wear all day long! It keeps the sun off of my neck and helps it not feel so gross! My boyfriend wants to steal it but he can't! Great value for the money. I recommend buying!

Good hat with adjustable straps to keep hat from blowing off when out in the field. Light material. Will be back for more purchases. Shipping took longer than I expected but hat is exactly what I wanted.

Fits well, great design. Have not tested the retention yet, so cant say on that. But as far as a piece of equipment goes this is a well built item and I have full confidence in the system.

The husband and I took a cruise. The first thing she asked for after we got back home was a hat like the one my dad was wearing. I had it for Christmas. She LOVES it!

The leg rig fits a bit tight for my S&W M&P 9mm but I still like the design. It is extremely comfortable to wear and the release is fast and easy. The rig fits my S&W 1911 just fine. I just like my holsters big so I can tuck my hands in to the rig to keep them from being able to be taken by an attacker in the leg area of the rig. The serpa part works well. I have no complaints about it. However, you must be mindful of your clothing. If your wearing anything with a metal zipper (Jeans, Levis, Carhartt etc.) Then you must also wear a cloth belt because the plastic belt used to connect the leg rig to the pistol will not fit over the metal part of the zipper on the belt. I recommend you purchase a stainless steel 550 cord as the plastic part will most likely snap with a metal zipper. I am thinking of getting a pistol sleeve for my other holster to protect the finish of my pistol from rubbing on my leg as well as protect my clothing from being damaged by the trigger guard.

My current primary duty pistol and weapon is an HK USP Match and this fits the handgun exceptionally well. The unit as a single unit is a great set up for tactical and even urban use of the unit. It's weight allows the handgun to be pulled close to the body or drawn close to the front with ease. Overall I would highly recommend the Serpa US Palm Shooter Drop Leg.

I purchased this for when i'm off duty as well as on. This holster is comfortable and is light. Great piece of gear for off duty carry. The two pull to deploy works great and is very quick. You can adjust it on the side if you have it attached to your belt and don't want it to move too much. Highly recommend it.

Excellent fit and ease of access from this holster system! Love the ability to use 2 backpack belts or belt. Great access to pistol and extremely secure and easy release.

This drop leg fit well, however after purchasing this item I was contacted by Blackhawk who asked that I return it and send them back a smaller sized leg. After the smaller one arrived, it fits perfect! I highly recommend it. Thank you Blackhawk for taking care of me. Also it is great that I didn't have to pay for the return shipping. This holster rocks! My daughter is now looking for her first tactical gun and this holster will be on it. My husband is very pleased with his as well.
