The German WWII M42 Helmet is an important war time helmet that was produced to meet the demands of Germany during World War II. With several design changes made to the M42 helmet the German defense industry was able to produce more helmets and the helmets produced required less steel. The changes that were made did not decrease the effective protection provided by the German Army helmet, only the time it took to produce the helmet and materials required.

This has to be the best reproduction of a M43 stallhelm yet period• I use this to reenact my SS Division 1st liberstandartedn Adulf Shitler impression. I look like a completely badass with this piece of fun machinery. I recommend it to everyone I meet even the Ruskies. My only complaint is that it comes in only one color. I wanted a liebermunster painted shell.
