Would not zero.

I ordered two Hogue 1911 grips. One could not be zeroed. Laser dot hit the slide stop, and would not clear it. I ordered two Hogue laser grips and and crimson Trace laser grip. Two of the three would not function. Just makes me wonder if KeepShooting is buying "seconds" Two broken items out of three is not a good track record.

These grips are well worth the money, don't just buy crimson trace because of the name, don't spend twice as much fit the crimson vs these grips, I have 2 sets of crimson trace, and these are just as good, the activation trigger is in the same place as the CT save money, or but 2 sets for 2 guns
Don't waste your money!!!

Bought two sets of these...$300 down the drain! The batteries will die within a couple of weeks without being used. I contacted Hogue and they sent replacements...I'm now on my 4th set with the same results. Dead batteries in less than a month even though the guns have been hanging on a pistol rod in the safe. If you buy these, don't say I didn't warn you!
I really like this product.

I wanted to enhance the accuracy of my Colt 1911 Gov't model, Mark 4, Series 70. I am getting older and my eyes were having trouble seeing the gun sights against a dark target background. I was hoping to upgrade my 1911 and not buy a new .45. The Hogue grip with laser installed very easily. Instructions were easy to follow. Came with the two necessary batteries. I had to buy new bushings and screws to install the grips. I zeroed the gun sights and laser at home to ten feet. I did have to make adjustments using the provided tool. That process was easy with very good instructions. Today I went to a range to finish the process of aligning my sights and the laser. I didn't need to do any more adjustments. Even at 25 feet the sights and lasers were perfectly aligned. At 30 feet the sights and laser were slightly separated. This product, at 25 feet, really enhanced the accuracy of my 45 year old gun.

Replaced my Hogue grip with their laser grip. Fit and feel are great, like the first one. No issues with laser adjustment and accuracy. After sighting in and some practice rounds, put the pistol away, in it’s readily accessible storage spot. Several months later, went to the range. Battery was dead. Thought I had old batteries, so replaced them. A little over a month later, went to check and the batteries were dead. For home defense, this laser is not a solution. As a comparison, my Crimson Trace laser on a different pistol has gone well over a year and is still operating normally.
